December - 2007
A very late, well actually January entry. Ok, here's what is going on. I wasted my 2 week vacation in December buying and selling Nintendo Wii systems on eBay and Craigslist because I was too cheap to pay for an Xbox 360, and figured I could buy one with the profit from selling the Wii systems. No problem with that, between Thanksgiving and Christmas I sold 10 Nintendo Wii, for about $75 profit on each. That was easily enough to buy the Xbox and some games, with no money out of pocket.
The Godzilla movie review web site is kinda sitting there. I do this sometimes. Get an idea and then after all the leg work I decide to push it aside. Not sure when I'll put more effort into finishing it.
A Fantasy Football update is nothing short of me winning two championships this year. One league was a 16 team monster on Yahoo!, and I destroyed the number one seed in the championship, after beating his team just the week before the playoffs started. The other championship I won was at ESPN. Not too shabby. I can honestly say, strategy is where it's at and I am the best Fantasy Football player the world has ever seen!
November - 2007
Always busy with something is my, well you understand. For the new site I'm working on, I've had to teach myself Adobe Illustrator. The pictures that follow are .jpeg files of Illustrator pictures I made. Storytime.. I had once taken a class at the local JC years ago, knowing I'd want to be pro at Illustrator, but as it turned out there weren't enough signed up, and the class was cut. And now looking back at Darth Kittius, Sith Lord drawing, I guess I should've drawn a tail. The second picture is a mascot Iım working out for my new site.
October - 2007
I've been away, from updates anyhow. This is a small update, as my time is being spent elsewhere. I'm really taking my time with my new site, been busy cleaning up my Star Wars collection, to the point where I'll be breaking away from it, and have a couple other projects that have been on hold that I need to find time for. Oh, and my car has been a project, since I was hit by a flying surfboard on the freeway. Insurance covered the incident/accident, and a good majority of my car is now repainted and looks new! Maybe I'll post a picture of my new, used car. Oh, I guess I did. Look just down and click the car.
July - 2007
I'm getting ready to launch a new site. Below is a picture of one of the site logos. The site will review Godzilla monster movies. This is all I can say at the moment. The site should be published by January 2008.

Been busy. However I did add a splash page to the site. This is the quick intro page you see before been sent to the main context / page in the site.
Oh, I did pick up one of these cool wall cubes from Pier One Imports. Actually I have two of them.
May - 2007
It's been a busy month for me. Early in the month I found another Neo Geo arcade cabinet that I'm attempting to restore and customize. This will probably be a project that'll keep me busy all year. My goal is to clean it up first. I'm installing spaceship shooter games in the cabinet, of which are only available for this platform and are of my most favorite video games. You can't play these games on any home console machine. When I'm finished cleaning the cabinet I plan to replace the cabinet artwork with custom graphics that relate to the 6 spaceship games that are in it. I need to create artwork for the two sides, the control panel as well as the monitor bezel.
Recently, on a whim, I flew down to LA and attended a Star Wars convention. I've never attended one before and thought I should experience it at least once. As it turned out I was only actually there at the show for 5 hours, the rest of the time was spent traveling. Next time I'll plan on at least 2 full days. I did however have enough time to buy a handful exclusive action figures for myself and friends. Click on the convention logo for a direct link to the photos.
Late April - 2007
Near the end of the month mom had a set back in the way of a stroke. She's been back and forth between the hospital and rehab, has returned home, and is slowly getting back abilities that had been compromised. For those of you who know her, know that she is improving. Dad has his hands full as we all do, as we assist her until she's able to return to full health.
April - 2007
I'm beginning to put together an arcade in my garage, and this means that I'm on the hunt for Neo Geo cabs! At the moment I have two cabs, as you can see from the picture. What is nice about the Neo Geo cabinets is that they operate with game boards and the games are on a cartridge format, allowing you to easily swap them out. The smaller Japanese cabinet has 4 games installed, while the large big red cabinet has a 6-slot board installed allowing me to choose between 6 games. In the distant future I plan to paint the back wall and add some graphics that say FRANK'S ARCADE or of the such. As for the meantime, I hope to find another cabinet this year, and then call it quits till next year. I figure with only my car in the garage, I should have enough room for maybe seven cabinets!
March in 3-D!

February - 2007
I'm experimenting with 3-D graphics for a new site idea. This is my first attempt at 3-D on the web, and I have yet to really check it. I figure by my posting something, I may be more committed not to forget about it.
My run at Star Wars collecting is just about over. I finished the 2006 basic figure collection this month and do not plan to collect anymore, even though 2007 is a 30 year anniversary. The following picture is from my 2005 Revenge of the Sith movie collection. I managed to place the entire collection in a closet, inside a room I'm not using. More photos are on the Photos page.
January - 2007
The picture is that of the collection of Star Wars 2006 action figures. Hasbro has just one wave of basic figures, and another 5 Wal*Mart exclusive figures to go, and then that series is finished.
A couple minor site updates for January. I provided links to past year news pages at the top of the current news page. Cool, eh? I also added a favicon image to the browser URL. It's a mini picture of Frank!
