December - Wow, the end of another year!
December I've been busy with a few different things. With the limited success of my sister's site PlanetXDesigns.com, I began another small online effort, this time with a focus on cooking aprons. I cannot say how long this ordeal with last, but to be fair I'll play with it for a few months on and off. You can view the official seal from the Redneck Aprons product line just below.
If anyone is counting, http://www.aprons4u.com is the 3rd online store site I tried this year. Allthingsfrank.com, gaspriceswtf.com, and Aprons4U.com, do add up to three, but I also registered the domain name Carpoolbingo.com, but never had time to play with it. This year I also let the domain name GoDaikaiju.com expire. This was my Godzilla web site that I had no time to work on.
December also saw me finish my Star Wars collection. Not only did I finally figure our the correct display situation for the collection, shot glass wall cabinets, but I also sold a ton of duplicates on eBay and got money back. I plan for a January update with pictures in my photo archives. 4 years of Star Wars collecting, and the only thing that comes to mind at the end of it all is...what a waste! I should have gone back to school and gotten my Masters.
I began 2008 winning another 2 Fantasy Football Championships, however by the end of the year I had lost both leagues I was in. While I managed to make it into the playoffs in both leagues, my teams came up short. This is the first time in 5 years I had not won a Fantasy Football league. At least I think it is. Maybe this is yet another sign to move past this. On a good note the Vikings made the NFL playoffs for the first time in a long time. Either since 2000 or 2002. Good luck Vikings, you need it!
November - Updates have been slow this year!
No excuses, ok maybe a few. Three things have been keeping me away from updates. One. I'm trying to finish off a couple collections, Star Wars and Indiana Jones figures. Yeah, I know.. Second. I started a high gas prices web site this summer, and as soon as I got it going, with the angle to profit from the high prices, oil prices plummeted. Third. I've been trying to organize around the house, sourcing display cases to hold collectables. For my Godzilla collection I also have a large floor display case I got from IKEA, but will have to get around to taking that picture later.
Anyhow, the point here is I don't know what possessed me to start collecting the past few years, but I think it's safe to say I'm backing off from it. I am hooked on the $5.00 Star Wars space ships, so I plan to continue amassing a very big collection of them. Indiana Jones, and SW figures, I'm done with. Godzilla figures are too far and few to qualify as collecting. Now I need to redirect my free time.

August - Finally an update?!
Funny how it takes the flu for me to update this site! I can hardly call this an update, rather a bulletin that I'll begin showing interest in my home site real soon. Recently I began playing with a few different sites, which have taken most my time. Godaikaiju.com is officially closed, because I just had too many ideas and kept changing what I had. Allthingsfrank.com will be closing if not already closed yet. I just let the rights to the sites run out and choose not to renew them. Gaspriceswtf.com is complete, but due to the recent drop in gas prices I've decided to leave it alone for now. So there you have it, I've been busy elsewhere.
For those of you who thought I did something rash when I turned 40, well, as you can see I didn't. I did however break down and buy a new set of wheels for my Miata.
February - Does life only begin at 40?!
I'm turning 40 this year, February 8 to be exact, and like many others that reach similar milestones I too look back thinking where have the years gone. Taking a look back, I loaded a image gallery of sorts reflecting on the cars I've been driving over the years, and hope to add additional photo galleries soon. Recetnly I've also made some progress on my Godzilla site. Click on the logo to check it out.
January - Here we go again!
Ok, so I've been looking for an ecommerce idea for years, and haven't succeeded because I've lacked a good idea, and some motivation. So my resolution for 08 is to commit and at least start some online sales site. I am committing to start anything, regardless of how bad the idea is. So we'll see how it goes. Right now the only hint I have is the graphic below.
